Dr. Sumit Roy is a Mechanical Engineer from REC (NIT) Durgapur with post graduation in Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He was awarded Ph.D by BITS, Pilani for his thesis on ‘development of an implementation model of TQM in Indian industry’. He supports both manufacturing and non-manufacturing companies as a Counsellor in Lean Six Sigma and Business Process Management. He is based at Pune, india and has over 30 years of experience.  Dr. Roy is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a registered Lean Manufacturing Consultant. He has trained and counselled over 200 companies in India and abroad. He is a Senior Member of ASQ and has published several technical papers.
